What does it mean to be bolder?
It means to be more powerful as a result of being more fully our true selves. We grow BOLDER as we learn to be less captive to the demeaning and limiting inner and outer voices of influence from our upbringing and our culture that tend to shut us down and make us small.
What makes you bold?
Respect for myself. The more I get to truly know myself, listen to myself and stand up for myself, the more strength I have to stand strong, grounded and unwavering in the face of conflict, challenge and adversity. Having comfort with and clarity about my own deep emotions allows me able to focus on the true underlying causes of the strong emotions and challenges of others around me.
What’s your favorite word and why?
Calm. Just saying or hearing the word calms my nervous system and puts me in a calmer state. I used to think I had to work super hard in life, in order to get to a safe place. Now I am much better at accessing safety and love in that calm, divine part of myself.
What skills do you bring to The Bolder Company?
Coaching. Whether its in a formal coaching session or collaborative problem solving, I am always using the tools I have honed as a coach to bring people together and find common ground. I think this brings out the best in people. I lead with my excitement and positive energy.
What’s your customer experience super-power?
Deep, compassionate, curious listening. This enables to hear what exactly is at the core of people's pain and suffering, I am able to more fully understand the root of their problem, which better equips me to see if The Bolder Company has the solution, or if I can refer them to someone in our network who does!
