Truly exceptional business leaders listen well and are most often described as fully present. How do they develop this skill of intentional listening, especially in our highly distracting world? They practice.
During this learn-and-apply “Intentional Listening” session participants connect with others through a series of exercises and conversations that focus on their listening skills (or lack thereof). With each successive exercise participants build self-awareness and tune into key facets of listening, communication, and interpersonal dynamics, to help them better navigate life and business relationships.
There are four essential, foundational skill sets that allow organizations to flex in the midst of change; listening, speaking up, building strong relationships, and cultivating ownership of outcomes. During this session participants explore these concepts through exercises intended to highlight their impacts on individuals and teams. Breakout rooms, writing prompts, and Business Improvisation exercises make this non-stop session an immersion into the principles of organizational success.
