About Jenny
I didn’t start in leadership theory. I started driving a forklift. 

I’ve worked in manufacturing and distribution and carried the pressure of “too much to do from too many directions.” I’ve reported to leaders who were brilliant… and leaders who were absolutely convinced they were. 

I know what it feels like to be in the middle — responsible for results, carrying more than most people see, and wondering why it still feels harder than it should. This is where the The Steady Leader Method™ was born. I spent the first half of my career as a workaholic, thinking that I just needed to push harder, do more. And that if I didn’t it was laziness or weakness. But the truth is that powering through brought me to burnout, more than once. It was only when I started to shift my personal operating system from Workaholic Chaos Addict Method to The Steady Leader Method™ that I started to get back my energy and clarity, and from there build something to help others get off that track, too.

I trained as a coach in 2006 and stayed in industry building those skills in real time on-the-job. 
I’ve been facilitating and consulting since 2014. 

I’ve designed and delivered leadership programs for organizations including BASF, Amgen, Airbus, OTO Engineering, Tomra, and others. 

But here’s what actually matters to me: 

Middle and emerging managers are surrounded by advice about how they’re “supposed” to lead.
