"Seventy-five percent of careers are derailed for reasons related to emotional competencies, including inability to handle interpersonal problems; unsatisfactory team leadership during times of difficulty or conflict; or inability to adapt to change or elicit trust."  Center for Creative Leadership

 Why EQ?

How do abilities such as independence, impulse control, problem solving, and empathy impact your daily life and job performance? Your Emotional Intelligence (EQ) skills direct how you manage yourself, your relationships to others, and your responses to a challenging, changing work environment. How well you master these EQ skills can hold you back or give you a professional edge.

  • Better understand and choose your emotional responses and those of others

  • Learn and master strategies to increase connection and minimize unproductive conflict

  • Increase your ability to stay engaged and collaborative under stress

Your program includes:

  • Online, confidential EQ-i 2.0®assessment: The EQ-i 2.0® assessment provides you with a unique and confidential opportunity to consider how the competencies of Emotional Intelligence either support or undermine your interactions with the events and people in your life.

  • One hour debrief with a Bolder Company certified EQ-i 2.0® coach: Through the confidential coaching conversation you’ll explore ways to increase confidence, reduce stress, and experience more choice in how you respond to and adjust your emotional responses to achieve personal success.

  • Leading with Emotional Intelligence two-part workshop at the Construction Institute (260 Girard Ave. Hartford)

          October 3 & 17, 4-7 PM

  • Every session is a hands-on, experiential opportunity to grow. Fun and challenging conversations, exercises, and writing activities will start you  applying the 15 competencies of Emotional Intelligence into your professional and personal life.

Apply & Integrate:

  • Three-month membership in our Insight & Action coaching program, focused on building your EQ skills with other class participants. (sessions will be via Zoom phone & videoconferencing)
